Why rate the condition of a book if the seller is shipping a hardcover book without any padding? I received my ?very good? condition book that was packed in a plastic bag. Zero paddings whatsoever. Obviously it arrived with the hardcover all bent!

This book's condition was rated as Very Good. It is in good condition but a sticker on the front cover left glue when I removed it. Had to use goo-be-gone to remove it. Otherwise, it was in good condition

Book rated as Very Good. Arrived w/torn cover in the middle of spine. The binderboard was cracked on the inside front of the hardcover. Very poor condition but Alibris found me another copy of the book in good condition and shipped it fairly quickly.

This book's condition was labeled as "very good", but it's actual condition was atrocious. The front cover bent and beaten to hell, the back cover partially ripped off. Very dissatisfied with the false advertisement and poor treatment of a book.

I contacted this seller immediately after purchase of this book letting them know that the address was outdated. I gave the NEW address and they mailed it out to my old address- ensuring that I will not get this book...Now need a refund SO DISAPPOINTED

2.5 lb hardcover shipped in thin plastic?no padding. Corners dented, back cracked. No seller reply. Sent multiple emails to change address before shipping (they had 6 days to respond); all ignored. This seller is negligent, dismissive, and careless. AVOID

Though described as in "Very Good" condition, the book was filled with yellow highlighting. I contacted HPB-Ruby twice through Alibris with no response. I had to pay shipping to return to Alibris. I won't purchase from this sloppy seller again.
